LDMFA Helicopter Fun Fly

LDMFA will play host to the members of the Melbourne Radio Controller Helicopter Club for an interclub fun fly as a lead up to the Victorian State Championships being held in November.

The Field will be closed to general flying  from 10.30 am – 4.00 pm on Sunday 12th September.

Support the 2010 AOCC F3A Team

Ron Schulz will be representing Australia in the AOCC F3A championships in the Philippines in September year.  This is to raise funds for all the team members.

VMAA Trophy Day 2

About 20 or so people camped at the field Saturday night in tents, caravans, trailers, swags and even the clubhouse. We had howling wind and quite a bit of rain overnight and it wasn’t looking great for Sunday. By starting time Sunday (around 9am) the rain had stopped but the wind persisted.

LDMFA Pylon Event 14/02/2010

Well the predicted thunderstorms held off and the weather turned out to be a treat. It was overcast, not a whole lot of wind and up around 28°. The Boomerang class was popular again (open to any 40ish sized trainer(ish) plane) that lets anyone get in and have a go. Congratulations to all who took part.
